What We Believe
It is our goal at Citrus Park to worship God according to His Word, the Bible as set forth in the New Testament for the church. We welcome any opportunity to sit down with a bible and study with you.
What must I do to be saved?
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and
said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and
brethren, what shall we do?" Acts 2:37
Hear
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God. Romans 10:17
And he departed from there and entered the house of a
certain man named Justus, one who worshiped God, whose house
was next door to the synagogue. Then Crispus, the ruler of
the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household.
And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were
baptized. Acts 18:7,8
Believe
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the
gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized
will be saved; but he who does not believe will be
condemned. Mark 16:15,16
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to
become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
John 1:12
Repent
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise
perish. Luke 13:3
"Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as
did also your rulers. But those things which God foretold by
the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer,
He has thus fulfilled. Repent therefore and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of
refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord Acts
3:17-19
Confess
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth
and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we
preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the
dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes
unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. Romans 10:8,9
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the
name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on
earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue
should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father. Phillipians 2:9-11
Be Baptized
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you
be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For
the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who
are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."And
with many other words he testified and exhorted them,
saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." Then those
who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day
about three thousand souls were added to them. - Acts
2:38-41
"Then a certain Ananias, a devout man according to the law,
having a good testimony with all the Jews who dwelt there,
came to me; and he stood and said to me, 'Brother Saul,
receive your sight.' And at that same hour I looked up at
him. Then he said, 'The God of our fathers has chosen you
that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and
hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to
all men of what you have seen and heard. And now why are you
waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins,
calling on the name of the Lord.' Acts 22:12-16
Live Faithfully
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and
the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good
fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that
Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His
appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7,8
Do not fear any of those things which you are about to
suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into
prison, that you may be tested, and you will have
tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will
give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10.
